These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of nfafinder.com and related NFA Finder services.
By using NFA Finder, you agree to these Terms.
1. About NFA Finder
NFA Finder is an informational search, aggregation, tracking, classification, and alert service for listings involving items that may be regulated under the National Firearms Act or other laws.
NFA Finder is not a firearms dealer, Federal Firearms Licensee, Special Occupational Taxpayer, seller, buyer, marketplace, auction house, transfer agent, law firm, or government agency.
NFA Finder does not possess, inspect, authenticate, sell, purchase, ship, register, or transfer listed items. Transactions occur independently through third parties.
2. Eligibility and Legal Compliance
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms.
Use of NFA Finder does not establish that you may legally purchase, possess, receive, transport, manufacture, register, or transfer any item.
You are responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
3. No Legal Advice or Eligibility Determination
NFA Finder provides general informational and organizational classifications, not legal advice.
Labels including "Civilian transferable," "FFL/SOT only," "Government/LE only," "Other restricted," and "Eligibility unverified" are based on available information. They are not guarantees or determinations that a particular person may acquire an item.
Transfer eligibility may depend on the item, registration status, buyer, seller, receiving dealer, location, licenses, tax status, government restrictions, ATF approval, and facts unavailable to NFA Finder.
Consult an appropriate attorney, licensed dealer, or government authority regarding a specific transaction.
4. Listing Information
Information may be collected through automated or manual processes and may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, duplicated, changed, or misclassified.
NFA Finder does not guarantee:
- Accuracy
- Availability
- Authenticity
- Ownership
- Condition
- Registration status
- Legal status
- Transferability
- Seller reliability
Review the original listing and independently verify all information.
5. Prices and Costs
Displayed prices are seller-listed prices and may exclude shipping, taxes, transfer fees, dealer fees, NFA-related charges, auction premiums, insurance, payment fees, or other costs.
Confirm the complete cost with the seller and receiving dealer.
6. Accounts
You agree to provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and accept responsibility for activity conducted through your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts associated with misuse, security risk, unlawful conduct, or violations of these Terms.
7. Saved Searches and Alerts
Alerts are provided as a convenience and may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, inaccurate, or unavailable.
An alert does not reserve an item or guarantee continued availability. Users remain responsible for reviewing and verifying the original listing.
8. Advertising, Sponsored Content, and Affiliate Relationships
NFA Finder may contain:
- Advertisements
- Sponsored placements
- Promoted listings
- Paid dealer placements
- Affiliate links
- Referral links
- Commercial recommendations
NFA Finder may receive compensation based on impressions, clicks, referrals, leads, purchases, subscriptions, or other interactions.
Sponsored or promoted content may receive enhanced placement or visibility. Where appropriate or required, paid content will be identified through labels such as "Sponsored," "Promoted," or similar language.
Compensation may influence placement, but it does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement, legal determination, or representation concerning the seller or item.
You are responsible for independently evaluating every listing and third party.
9. Analytics and Commercial Use of Service Data
NFA Finder may analyze service activity to operate and improve the platform, personalize experiences, measure advertising, create aggregated market insights, develop commercial offerings, and provide reports to advertisers, sponsors, dealers, investors, acquirers, or business partners.
Use and disclosure of personal information are governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
NFA Finder may commercially use aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably intended to identify an individual.
10. Third-Party Websites and Transactions
Third-party transactions are solely between the user and the applicable seller, dealer, marketplace, auction house, or other third party.
NFA Finder is not responsible for fraud, payments, refunds, product condition, shipping, seller conduct, legal compliance, transfer delays, transfer denials, or other transaction-related losses.
11. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Violate applicable law
- Facilitate an unlawful transaction
- Misrepresent identity or eligibility
- Circumvent licensing, registration, transfer, or approval requirements
- Access systems without authorization
- Introduce malicious code
- Interfere with service operation
- Abuse alerts, forms, or email systems
- Systematically scrape or copy the service without authorization
- Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights
12. Intellectual Property
NFA Finder's branding, design, software, original text, databases, organization, and original materials belong to NFA Finder or its licensors.
Third-party names, trademarks, images, and listing materials belong to their respective owners.
No license is granted except the limited right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.
13. Feedback
You grant NFA Finder permission to use suggestions and feedback without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
14. Service Changes and Availability
We may modify, suspend, restrict, monetize, or discontinue any feature or portion of NFA Finder.
We do not guarantee continuous, secure, permanent, or error-free operation.
15. Business Transfers
NFA Finder may assign these Terms or transfer rights, obligations, accounts, service data, and related assets in connection with a merger, financing, restructuring, acquisition, asset sale, or sale of the business.
A successor may continue operating NFA Finder subject to these Terms, an updated agreement, and applicable law.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
NFA Finder is provided "as is" and "as available."
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim express and implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, and security.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NFA Finder and its operators, affiliates, providers, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages or loss of profits, data, opportunity, goodwill, or business.
NFA Finder's total liability will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid directly to NFA Finder during the preceding 12 months.
Some limitations may not apply where prohibited by law.
18. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless NFA Finder and its operators, affiliates, providers, and representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, third-party transactions, or infringement of another person's rights.
19. Termination
You may stop using NFA Finder at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to protect the service, users, third parties, or legal interests or in response to violations of these Terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Texas law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Disputes will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Texas unless applicable law requires otherwise.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as NFA Finder evolves. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
22. Severability
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
23. Entire Agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement concerning use of NFA Finder.
